Ludginstudio LLC is a full-service custom residential design firm located north of Boston. Principal Doug Ludgin has extensive experience designing and managing custom residential projects of both new construction and addition/renovations. Ludginstudio primarily serves New England yet has experience working in several regional markets throughout the United States.
By listening to the specific requirements of our clients we foster a collaborative, inclusive process aimed to surpass the expectations of the most discerning owners. Ludginstudio is well adept to work within (1) any level of budget, (2) rural or urban sites, and (3) various time constraints. LEADERSHIP
Doug Ludgin, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, is principal and founder of ludginstudio. His design career began with several prominent Boston area architecture firms encompassing a range of architectural types including academic, retail, master planning, hospitality, single-family residential, multi-family residential, and the still evolving field of landscape urbanism.
Doug's diverse background supports a primary focus on custom residential design. A California native, Doug has practiced custom residential architecture on the West coast, Gulf coast, and primarily the East coast, including New England's Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. His practice seeks to explore the balance between ever-changing needs of today's contemporary lifestyle, sustainable responsibility, and New England's traditional vernacular. His reputation among design consultants, custom builders, and collaborators persists the Boston area, Cape Cod & Islands. Doug's attention to designing beautifully-crafted buildings is matched by high level project management delivery.
